The shop will be open today from 10am to 3pm. Tonights (Tennesee Waltz) class will be held tomorrow night from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.

Many of our customers have said that they were not getting enough information on the projects offered. We found that they were not clicking on the date, so click twice for more info. and don’t hesitate to call us. We have a very full schedule and hope that many of you will join us for classes and or to buy projects.

Good Morning!

We will be open  today from 11am to 3pm. So if you are in need of a project and/or material to complete a project you can come by.

Our 2nd Chinese New Year celebration will be held on Sunday January 25 (New Years Eve) at 4pm.  Maggie from the Kings Wok in Valatie and her husband are preparing a New Years feast especially for our foofsique friends.  Dinner will include Peking Duck, shrimp, pork, chicken, rice and vegetarian dishes. The cost is $30 including tax and gratuity. Reservations with us are a must by Jan.22. 

Superbowl Sunday is fast approaching. Remember you will be home in time for the game and when you get home you will have the top of a queen size quilt done or close to it. $99 includes all the fabric to complete the top of this star quilt. Come by see the sample and choose your fabric.  Bring a covered dish to share.  Door prizes, games and fun for all.

Winter Weather

We hope that all of you will be able to check the blog on days like this  to see if we are open before venturing out. When the weather is this bad and Anne and I can not make it safely to the shop we will leave you a message here.
Thimbleberries 2009 was to begin tonight, obviously we believe it best to move it to another time for this month. We will meet, as planned, this Saturday at 10:30 am with anyone who can make it and set another date for the evening group.  Remember the $65 registration is the min. due.
We plan to be open tomorrow at 10am.

Happy Holiday’s

We will be open Monday Dec. 22, Tues. the 23rd and from 10-12 on the 24th. The shop will be closed for the week between Christmas and New Years. We will be open and ready to go with an exciting winter schedule of events (see our calendar) On Friday January 2nd. There is Chinese New Year on January 26th, SuperBowl celebration on Sunday February 1st just to name a few.  We will be teaching the Tennesee Waltz and There will be a “Pamper Yourself Sunday” series.  Love to all Sandy and Anne

Last days before Christmas

We hope that you have had enough fabric at home to keep you busy and productive during these last two weeks. The snow and ice have made things a little difficult  all of us. We are hoping the weather will cooperate this Sunday so that we can make up the last Christmas Club (pillow case class from 12-2). If you want you can stop by anytime for the pattern and fabric. Looking Ahead!

Chinese New Year is another reason for foofsique to celebrate.  Join us for our 2nd annual celebration at the end of January, watch our calendar for specifics.  The celebration will include dinner at the Kings Wok in Valatie and an Asian project kit for all who attend.  Last year Maggie and her husband made us a fantastic New Years Feast.

Super bowl Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009.  Join us for our 4th super bowl sunday get away.  We will meet at the Canaan Fire House and do a one day mystery quilt.  It will be a large, big block quilt made from layer cakes that most everyone should finish in one day.  The first one done will get it long arm quilted for free!.  Watch or call for details.
